The Northern Inner City elderly care department is responsible for support and services for individuals over 65 years old.

The operations include case management, home care, and health-promoting units, as well as nursing and care homes. Together, we work to provide the elderly with a safe and dignified daily life and care of high quality – every day.

The department has a unit with specialist functions for overarching support and development work. Here, operational controllers/development managers, a medically responsible nurse, dietitians, a dementia coordinator, and documentation process leaders work, totaling twelve people today. One of our fantastic dietitians will be on parental leave, and we are now looking for a temporary dietitian who wants to help develop work in the area of food, meals, and nutrition with us during the period from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027.

Your role

As a dietitian with us, you will work both strategically and closely with operations to develop the area of food, meals, and nutrition within elderly care. You will:

• support base staff regarding food and meals and provide consultative support to nurses in the nutrition care process and in efforts to prevent malnutrition
• participate in development work, coordinate various assignments and projects in the area, and conduct training
• collaborate with dietitian colleagues, managers, and other professional groups

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed dietitian
• has experience in educating and/or supervising
• has excellent communication skills and can express themselves fluently and pedagogically in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with the elderly population
